The holidays are a time to gather with loved ones, indulge in delicious treats, and create cherished memories. What better way to elevate the festive spirit than with engaging games that everyone can enjoy? Whether you're hosting a family get-together, an office party, or a cozy evening with friends, these holiday-themed games are guaranteed to keep the laughter rolling and the fun alive. Here at FH ONE we will be adding a fun twist! Scroll to number 13.

1. Christmas Charades

Put a holiday twist on the classic game of charades! Write down holiday-related phrases, songs, or movie titles on slips of paper. Players take turns acting them out without using words while their team guesses. Suggestions include "Jingle Bells," "Building a Snowman," or "Wrapping Presents." This game is perfect for all ages and sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

2. Holiday Trivia

Test everyone’s festive knowledge with a round of holiday trivia. Create questions about holiday traditions, classic movies, and seasonal songs. Examples include: “What is the highest-grossing Christmas movie of all time?” or “Which country started the tradition of putting up a Christmas tree?” Divide guests into teams, and the group with the most correct answers wins!

3. Gift Wrap Relay

For this high-energy game, split guests into teams and give each team a box, wrapping paper, scissors, and tape. The challenge? One person wraps while blindfolded, and their teammates give verbal instructions. The fastest (or neatest) team wins! This game doubles as a hilarious icebreaker and a test of teamwork.

4. White Elephant Gift Exchange

A classic holiday party game, a white elephant gift exchange involves each guest bringing a wrapped gift to contribute to the pile. Participants take turns either unwrapping a new gift or stealing an already opened one. This game guarantees surprises, laughter, and maybe even some friendly competition!

5. Pin the Nose on Rudolph

A festive twist on "Pin the Tail on the Donkey," this game is ideal for kids but fun for adults too. Create a poster of Rudolph and blindfold participants, who then try to pin a red nose as close to the right spot as possible. Add a timer for a competitive edge.

6. Holiday Bingo

Design Bingo cards with holiday-themed items like snowflakes, gingerbread cookies, Santa hats, and candy canes. Use festive markers like red and green buttons or peppermints. Call out the items, and the first to complete a row or column wins a prize.

7. Ugly Sweater Contest

Encourage guests to show up in their most outrageous holiday sweaters. Create categories like “Most Creative,” “Funniest,” and “Most Festive” to keep the judging fair. Let everyone vote for the winners and hand out fun prizes for the champions.

8. Holiday Pictionary

Divide your guests into teams and give each one a drawing pad and markers. Create a list of holiday-themed words or phrases, like "Elf on the Shelf" or "Candy Cane." Players take turns drawing while their teammates guess. No words or letters allowed!

9. Snowball Toss

Bring the winter fun indoors with this game. Use cotton balls or white pom-poms as "snowballs" and set up buckets or bowls at varying distances. Players compete to toss as many snowballs into the containers as possible within a time limit. Adjust the difficulty for kids and adults to keep it fair.

10. Name That Holiday Tune

Prepare short snippets of popular holiday songs and play them for the group. The first person or team to correctly name the tune earns a point. Bonus points can be given for singing the next line! This game is a hit for music lovers and an excellent way to spread holiday cheer.

11. Christmas Scavenger Hunt

Create a list of holiday-themed items for guests to find around your home or venue. Items could include a candy cane, a Santa ornament, or a wrapped present. Divide participants into teams and let the hunt begin! The first team to find all the items wins a festive prize.

12. Holiday Photo Booth

Set up a corner with fun holiday props like Santa hats, reindeer antlers, and festive signs. While it’s not a competitive game, a photo booth encourages creativity and provides a keepsake from the party. You can even vote on the most creative photo at the end of the event.

13. Where Are My Glasses?

Switch out your partner’s real glasses with novelty or "fun" ones (like glasses with thick lenses or just the frames) and watch them try to go about their routine or find the real pair. Add an extra twist by placing the real glasses in a challenging spot and turning it into a scavenger hunt! It’s a hilarious way to break the ice during family gatherings, but make sure to only play this with someone who’s up for the fun and isn’t reliant on their glasses for safety.

Bringing It All Together

Holiday games are a fantastic way to break the ice, entertain guests, and make your party truly unforgettable. From creative contests to laugh-out-loud relays, there’s something for every crowd. So grab your holiday spirit, prepare some fun prizes, and let the games begin—your party is sure to be the highlight of the season! Check out this board for more great ideas!
